Our Core Values
Our values guide how we support our partners their communities.
Transparency
We believe healthcare organizations and professionals deserve more visibility, clearer communication, and more direct relationships.
Flexibility
Modern healthcare work requires more adaptable workforce models designed around real operational and professional needs.
Sustainability
We support stronger long-term workforce relationships that help healthcare organizations improve stability and continuity.
Empowerment
Healthcare professionals deserve greater ownership, independence, and opportunity throughout their careers.
Why Ruralink Exists
RuraLink (originally EmpoweRx) was started by a former travel healthcare recruiter that saw firsthand how broken the traditional staffing model had become. Too often, healthcare professionals had little transparency into their pay, limited control over their careers, and no direct relationship with the organizations they were serving.
At the same time, healthcare organizations, especially those in rural communities were struggling with workforce shortages, rising staffing costs, and constant turnover. I knew there had to be a better way. What started as helping clinicians build independent careers and set up their own LLCs eventually evolved into a larger mission: creating a more direct and sustainable way for healthcare organizations and professionals to work together. RuraLink was built to strengthen healthcare workforce relationships through transparency, aligned incentives, and a model designed to better support both sides of the healthcare system.

Building the Future of Rural Healthcare
The future of rural healthcare is more direct relationships. It's connection and community. It's in regional networks of healthcare professionals and organizations working towards a mutually beneficial future, and towards an increasing quality of care.
Our vision is of a more sustainable future where healthcare organizations gain workforce stability and professionals gain greater flexibility, opportunity, and independence without middlemen.
